The changing face of private equity

Having spent some time consulting for a private equity firm, it’s interesting to see them bubble up to the surface once in a while in the “light” business media like CNN Money.

Interesting idea. I’m not sure entrepreneurship can be taught, but much like the projects we work at in MBA school (designed to simulate the “real world” project environment) it might be great for confidence-building and test runs.

Just goes to show what a progressive tax on gasoline could have done to encourage mass transit for years - the system could have been improved and the environment helped. Now we’ll have nothing to show for it.
